A credit balance ol £62 13s 8d was shown in a report presented at tee annual meeting of tee Canterbury Bowling Club. The election of officers resulted as follows:— president, Mr S. R. Johns: vicepresident. Mr F H. Ashton; secretary, Mr V. J. Rhodes: treasurer, Mr S. G. McKenzie; committee. MessrsiL. A- Hulston, J. Jones. H Bradley, B Rhodes, and G. D. Simpson; auditor, Mr LI J™ 3 * delegate to Christchurch Centre, Mr V. J Rhodes; selector and handlcapper, Mr W L. Castle; match committee, Messrs, A. Williamson, T. Quirk, and J. Rhodes; house committee, Messrs W. Dick, E. Travis, A Goldsman, S. McKenzie, and Turpin was presented with a wristlet watch to mark bis outstanding performance last Season, in winning three maim- competitions and two minor events. Mr Turpin was the first member of the dub to secure all major event*.
