MALVERN COLLIE DOG TRIALS
GOOD ENTRIES IN ALL EVENTS
The Malvern collie dog trials were held recently on Mr J. Milliken’s “Airedale" estate. The sheep were lent by Mr F. M. Robinson "Benmore," and Mr C. Bassett (Oxford) was Judge. There was a record number of competitors, and the funds of the local Returned Services’ Association will benefit considerably from the proceeds. Results: Class I.—Yarding: M. Leslie 1, B. Watson’s Have 3, E. Haines's Tweed and K. Denton’s Spot (equal) 4. Malden Event.—Class I, yarding: E. Percy 1, R. Ferguson 2, G. Watson 3, Mrs Lundy 4. Class 11, long pull: E. Percy 1, 3. Watson 2, T. E. Barwell 3, Mrs Lundy I, Class 111, huntaway: G. Watson’s storm 1, G. Watson’s Dave 2, E. Haines’s [•weed 3, T. E. Harwell's Bruce 4. Cups and special prizes; S. E.
