Large Diamond Found. —A gem diamond weighing 770 carats, believed to be the largest diamond of gem quality in the world at present, was found in Sierra Leone last January, reports an Imperial Institute bulletin. The stone is of exceptionally fine colour and quality, and it may well be the largest diamond ever found in an alluvial deposit.—London, May 14. •
