RECORD PRICE FOR BULL
' : ♦ ABERDEEN ANGUS SALE (P.A.) DANNEVIRKE, October 11. A record price of 1300 guineas was paid at the annual breeders’ sale of pedigree Aberdeen Angus bulls for the yearling bull Embassy Again of Mangatoro, bred and sold by D. G. Grant, of Mangatoro. The bull was bought on behalf of Mr H. J. Kelliher, of Auckland. Other prices realised ranged for twq : year-olds from 400 guineas down to 50 guineas, while among the yearlings D. G. Grant obtained prices ranging from 625 guineas down to 290 guineas. Ll V.< Smith, of Gisborne, received 415 guineas lor a yearling.
