PROPERTY AGGREGATION
Sir,—Mr F. W. White’s statement that an investor owning a property worth £40,000 is no different from one owning 40. properties at £ 1000, is challengeable First, an investor is often competing against a family man after a home. Second, the investor with unlimited capital gets preferment from a seller against a small man’s limited saving!?. Therefore, the Real Estate Institute’s desire that the clause in the Land Sales Act relating to land aggregation be removed would until some time after the war be a step backward—Yours etc.. W. J. PARSONS. September 21. 1944.
