SCARLET FEVER CASES
Scarlet fever notifications in Canterbury last week remained at the low level reached in the preceding week, which was the lowest since April 17. There were 41 cases in Canterbury and six on the West Coast. Other notifications in Canterbury were two cases of diphtheria and three each of tuberculosis and septic abortion. There was one case of tuberculosis on the West Coast and one death from tuberculosis in the same district.
