One of the moist interesting sections in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens at present is the alpine rock garden which was built only a few years ago. A fine collection of alpine plants from all parts of the world, many of them rare specimens, has become well established, and these are now making a magnificent display. The alpine garden is on the south side of the rose garden. Spring blossoms are a feature of other parts of the gardens, and rhododendrons are just beginning to come into bloom., .
