vort Levy.—The Port Levy branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union held its monthly meeting at “Fernlea ” The president, Mrs F. Jenkins, presided. A number of well-made patchwork quilts were sent in by members, and these are to be sent to the Lady Galway Guild. The winners of the monthly competitions were as follows: sewing, Mrs N. Wilson 1, Mrs H. B. Pelvin 2; vase of six spring blooms, Mrs W. S. Coop 1, Mrs L. H. Field 2; best bloom, Mrs F. Jenkins and Mrs W S. Coop (equal) 1. Novelty competitions were won by Mrs F. Jenkins and Miss Rema Wilson. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs J. Grant and Miss E. Jennings.
