ACCIDENTS
GUNSHOT WOUND Ronald McGregor, aged 16, was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital yesterday afternoon, suffering from a gunshot wound in one of his legs. The accident occurred when McGregor was shooting rabibts at Halkett, His present condition is satisfactory. INJURED MAN IDENTIFIED The man who was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital with head injuries on Friday evening, after a collision between the bicycle he was riding and a car at the corner of Bealey avenue and Papanui road, has been identified as Edward Johnson, aged 32, of 57 Hawkesbury avenue, St. Albans. Last night, his condition was stated to be satisfactory. FOOTBALLER INJURED When playing in a Rugby match at Lancaster Park on Saturday afternoon, Leading Aircraftman Edwin Kay, aged 21, who is attached to an Air Force station in Canterbury, fractured his ankle. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where his condition last night was reported to pe satisfactory
