DEATH OF INFANT John Anthony Bougen. a child aged three years and a half, was found drowned on the property of his grandfather. Mr A. Stubbs, at East Oxford yesterday. The boy disappeared on Sunday evening, and although an allnight search was made it brought no result It appears that a small hole dug in the garden had filled with water, and into this the boy had fallen, head first An inquest will be opened before the Coroner. Mr E. C. Levvey, at Oxford to-morrow. DEATH OF CHILD A verdict that Juliet Robin Lyness, four-months-old daughter of Mr and Mrs D D. Lyness, of Queen’s avenue. Fendalton, died at Christchurch on August 7. the cause of death being asphyxia, caused by the inhalation of vomited material, was returned by Mr E C. Levvey, Coroner, at an inquest into the death of the child. DEATH AFTER MOTOR ACCIDENT Lawrence Donald Carr, a labourer, aged 18, of Greenpark, who was seriously injured in a motor collision at Greenpark on Friday, died in the Christchurch Hospital on the following day An inauest was opened before Mr E. C. Levvey. Coroner, and after evidence of identification, was adjourned sine die.
