The weather forecast for Canterbury, Issued at 5 p.m., by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of issue, is •s follows: Moderate to fresh winds from an easterly quarter. Weather cloudy and cold, with occasional drizzle, especially about and north of Banks Peninsula. WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Moderate to fresh easterly winds.
