The returns of the sixth Auckland wool appraisal show that 16,497 bales were appraised, and the average price was £lB 8s 9d a bale, or 12.37 d per lb. The total value was £304.150. This brings the season's total, with one more appraisal to be held, to £1,933.187, which compares with last season's record of £ 1,770,742.
