WASTE RECLAMATION
ESSSENTIALITY DECLARED The National Council for the Reclamation of Waste Material and associated sub-committees and boards in respect of waste reclamation, but not including workers whose wages are paid wholly or in part from Government funds under scheme 13, have been declared essential, according to the thirtieth list of essential declarations which has been received by the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association.
Miscellaneous listings in the twentyninth list include Carlyle Slipper Compapy, Ltd., at Christchurch; Calverts, Ltd., at Christchurch: A. Farrar, Ltd., at Christchurch; Canterbury Machinery Agency and Welding Company, at Rangiora; Byfleld Industries, Ltd., at Christchurch; J. M. Heywood and Company, in respect of the bulk store of John Lysaght, Ltd., at Christ church; Iron and Steel Company, in respect of bulk store of Joseph Nathan and Company (N.Z.), Ltd., at Christchurch; bag department of J. Gadsden and Company, Ltd., at Christchurch.
