The Fishing Rivers.—Advice received yesterday by the secretary of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society gave the condition of the rivers for quinnat salmon fishing as follows: —Rakaia and Hurunui. clear and fishable; Waimakariri, dirty and in slight flood.
