HAMPER RAFFLES
Sir,—l recently purchased a6d ticket in a raffle for a hamper’which wako® exhibit in a Red Cross shop in Colombo street. My ticket drew first priXfi but when I went to collect the hgmpjjr I was given a bottle of whisky. I;su to see how a bottle of whisky cambe called a hamper.—Yours, etc., FIRST PRIZE: May 5, 1943. [The organiser of the raffle said that the prizes in question included separate lots of liquor, which wg# placed together for display. Joe tickets clearly indicated that taew were three prizes, and named them.!
