AIRCRAFT CRASH IN NORTH ISLAND

TWO KILLED AND TWO INJURED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 7. When an aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force crashed when taking off from a North Island air station this morning, two of the occupants lost their lives and two others were injured, necessitating their a'dmission to hospital. Those concerned were:— Killed Sergeant William Routledge Nlcholls, whose mother is Mrs S. L. Nicholls, Dexter avenue. Mount Eden, Auckland. Flight Sergeant Ronald Stanley Triner, whose wife is Mrs S. I. Triner, Mewburn avenue, Mount Eden, Auckland. Injured, with Severe Shock Flying Officer Bryan Cranstone Scott, whose mother is Mrs L. D. K. Scott, care of the Bank of New Zealand, _ Nelson. Flight Sergeant Robert Edward Carson Black, whose mother is Mrs J. Black, Waharoa road, Matamala.
