AWARDED BRITISH EMPIRE MEDAL.— Staff-Sergeant George G. P. Weenink, youngest son of the late Mr Harry Weenink, of Karoro, Greymouth, who left with the advance party in December, 1939, and has been through all campaigns to date. He lost two brothers in the Great War of 1914-18.
