JUDGE'S PLACINGS AT C.J.C. MEETINGS

Sir,—After preventing a demonstration last Easter Monday by suggesting that we interview the secretary of the C.J.C. about the judge's .placings in the Kildare Hurdle race, I have now little confidence in that gentleman’s statement made to us, that the judge’s placings are final. The demonstration made by the public after the running of the Templeton Handicap last Saturday soon altered the judge’s placings. I hope that your correspondent F. C. Thomas, will not take exception to the above criticism.—Yours, etc., M, J. BROWN. Diamond Harbour, May 3. 1943
