TWO SMALL FIRES

For the second successive night the Christchurch Fire brigade was called to a hedge fire in Jeffrey’s road, Bryndwr, last evening. About 7.45 p.m. about a chain of gorse hedge on a vacant section belonging to Mr M. Seeker was completely burnt out. The brigade also received a call at 9.37 p.m. to a chimney fire in premises at 51 A. Victoria street, occupied by Mrs M. Walker.
