ARTHUR ROSE CUP The annual match for the Arthur Rose Cup plaved between the Licensed Victuallers' Association and the Canterbury Bowling Club, was won by the Victuallers with 83 points to 76. Results were (Licensed Victuallers’ Association names being mentioned first); —Patterson, Chivers, Craighead, Clarke 18, Ashton, Robinson, Russell, Hulston 28; Saunders, Duncan. Delargey, Quirk 25. Smith, Ritchie, Angus, Gordon 11; McAuley, Watt Mitchell. Ives 19, Jones. Cherry, Rennie, Dcare 17: Richards, Milner, Rose. Draper 21, Hoff, Law, Johns, Munn 20. LINWOOD BEATS RICCARTON The first annual competition for the Linwood-Riccarton Racecourse Plate was played last Saturday, the Linwood Club winning by 14 points from the Riccarton Racecourse Club. Skips were:—Linwood: Snedden, Muirson, Duncan. Scrivener, and Redpatlv. Riccarton: Reed, J. Bridges, M. Bridges, Main, and Daniel. RICCARTON RACECOURSE CLUB Comoetitions conducted by the Riccarton Racccour.' e Bowling Club have now been finished. The Clifford Buttons were won bv J, Burgess and W. Townsend, the runnel's if* being J. Bridges and J. Ho' "p.s- the Jock Best Cup was won by J. Eu’gcss, the runner-up being M. Bridges.
