CENTRE CHAMPIONSHIP The Christchurch Bowling Centre's champion of champions fours was won by the Linwood rink (R. Duncan s., G. R. Dickson third, P. Teasdale second, P. Jackson lead). Yew Tree, Trophy Riccarton Racecourse Club beat Opawa in a match for the Yew Tree trophy, on the Opawa green, by two points. The scores were;—Riccarton 78, Opawa 76. The skips were: Riccarton, Daniel, Marsh, R. Harrow, and Giles; Opawa, Garland, Paterson, Merrin, and Hunter. Pollock Bowl The Hornby Bowling Club was successful in a match against the Riccarton Racecourse Club for the Pollock bowl, winning by 18 points. Skips were: Hornby, Blackmore, Crawford, Bowden; Riccarton, Burgess, Seaward, Main.
