COMPANY NEWS Milne and Choyce Dividends.—Dividends have been declared by Milne and Choyce, Ltd., as follows:—Debenture stocks, ordinary and preference shares, (5 per cent, per annum; B preference shares, 7 per cent. MINING Blackwatcr Mines, Ltd,,.—Development work at Blackwater Mines, Ltd., for the four weeks ended February 26 was as follows:—No. 14 level: Back-shunt drive north at 1295 was advanced 64 feet, of which 59 feet exposed reef averaging 12.59dwt over 31 inches. No. 15 level: Drive north advanced 6ft on reef, averaging 16.77dwt over 24 inches. No. 15 level: Drive south advanced 35 feet on reef averaging 13.22dwt over 33 inches. No. 14 level: Rise at 795 advanced 49 feet on reef averaging 13.47dwt over 36 inches. No. 15 level: Rise at 3005 advanced 26 feet on reef averaging 8.83 dwts over 18 inches. Associated Gold Dredges (N.Z.), Ltd.— For the week ended March 6, the company's dredges recovered 210J ounces from 76,500 yards in 368 dredging hours. STOCK SALES DUVAUCHELLE The yarding at the monthly cattle sale at Duvauchelle on Friday comprised about 250 head of catle, 150 head being in the fat pens and the balance being made up of stores, springers, and bulls. In the fat pens there were no heavy bullocks, but there were several lines of well-finished small steers and heifers. Prices for good quality animals wereaon a par with recent Addington market rates. There was a good demand for springers, the entry being larger than for some time. The store cattle consisted mainly of odd lines of store cows, but there were very few young cattle. & The range of prices was as follovysr— Fat steers, £8 12s 6d to £l3; fat cows £9 to £l2 ss; lighter sorts, £5 5s to £7 17s 6d; fat heifers, £9 5s to £l2 15s; lighter sorts, £6 15s to £7 17s 6d; springers, £4 15s to £lO ss; store cows, £3 6s to £4 ss; bulls, £2 7s 6d to £5 7s 6d.
