ARMY PROMOTIONS GAZETTED
Promotions and postings announced in the latest issue of the Gazette include the following:— Lieutenant K. I. Armour is promoted to captain. Captains M. H. O’Rorke and E. W. Kerr are promoted to the rank of major. Second-Lieutenant J. W, Broadley is promoted to lieutenant in the New Zealand Artillery. • In the Army Service Corps,- Lieutenants B. W. Dalefleld and L. E. Gibbons become captains. Second-Lieutenants B. B. Loughnan and E. G. Legge become lieutenants.
Captain R. G. S. Orbell, M.C., E.D., M.D., of the Medical Corps, is posted to the retired list, with the rank of major.
Among officers who have been posted to the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force are Second-Lieutenants J. M. Frengley, D. G. McM. Reid, E. R. Smythe, R. J. Applegarth, N. Barker, O. A. Frampton, G. A. J. Greig, H. B. Hay, G. A. Hutton, C. M. Mackenzie, J. R. K. McLachlan, S. M. Pritchard, M. C. Sellars, A. Mcl. Crawford, C. Denham, G. Dykes, G. H. Lloyd, and M. B. Mitchell.
