CHINESE RECAPTURE LIHUANG
(Rec. in' p.m.) CHUNGKING, Jan. 8. A Chinese Army communique states that the Chinese have recaptured Lihuang, the provisional capital of Anhwei. One thousand Japanese were killed and wounded. One Japanese force retreating to the north-west is at present striving to tight its way out.
