Salt Imports.—An arrangement for the formation of a salt association com* 6 rising agent importers for the bulk* ig of orders of salt for the war period Is announced in advice received by the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce from the Customs Department. Licences will .be issued to members of the association with whom all buyers ■will be required to place orders for submission to the food controller for transmission overseas.
