ADVANCE OF 2D IN EGG PRICES
An advance of 2d a dozen in Christchurch egg prices was made yesterday by the Price Investigation Tribunal. Announcing this, the manager of the Internal Marketing Division in Christchurch (Mr J. A. Manton) said that minimum retail prices would now be 2s Id for heavy grade, Is Hd for standards, Is lOd for medium, and Is lid for duck eggs. The margin allowed retailers on these prices was 2Jd a dozen.
