TWO INQUESTS OPENED
* DEATHS OF STUDENT AND SOLDIER After being admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital on Thursday with injuries received when he fell from a window at College House hostel, Graham Stuart, aged 20, a student at Canterbury University College, died on Saturday. An inquest, at which evidence of identification was given, was opened before the Coroner (Mr F. F. Reid, S.M.) yesterday morning and adjourned sine die. An inquest on Nathan Charles Clegg, a soldier, aged 36 years, who died suddenly at Hornby, was also opened and adjourned sine die.
