ELLESMERE E.P.S.
The controller reported to a meeting of the Ellesmere Emergency Precautions Committee that a close check had been made of the E.P.S. and Home Guard rolls to ensure that all men in’ the district were carrying out their obligations. Official records were used, and it was found that practically all men had been posted to work in either the E.P.S. or the Home Guard. Messrs P. F. Chamberlain and W. P. Bishop were welcomed as the Dunsandel delegates. Reports from the lighting controller and from an Air Force headquarters on an aerial reconnaissance during a recent black-out, showed that the test had been very satisfactory. Reports from other sections were also satisfactory.
