AMERICANS TO HOLD SERVICE IN ABBEY
(8.0. W.) RUGBY, Nov. 17. For the first time in the 900 years of its history, Westminster Abbey will pass from the hands of the dean and clergy, for a ceremony on November 26, when the United States forces in the European theatre, under Lieuten-ant-General Dwight Eisenhower’s com-mand,-will hold their principal thanksgiving service there.
