MODEL YACHTING
The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the fourth club race of the season on Saturday, on Victoria Lake, and 14 boats sailed in a strong north-easterly wind. Following were results:— First Heat—R. Reid's Banshee (hep. 2.10) 1; M. Spicer’s Defiance (5.10) 2; E. Hodge’s Linnet (3.30) 3; B. George’s Imp ‘(3.10) 4; G. Johnson’s Victory (3.50) 5. Time, 2Gimin. Second Heat.—W. Schenkel’s Unity (hep. 6.50) 1; Imp 2; A. Smith’s Phyllis (5.40) 3; Linnet 4; R. C. Munro’s Dolphin (scr) 5. Time, SOJmin. Final result.—Banshee and Unity equal first, with 8 points; Imp third with 7 points: Defiance and Linnet equal fourth with 5 points.
