AIR CASUALTIES
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 19. The following air casualties are announced to-day, all Royal New Zealand Air Force unless otherwise stated:— Martyn, Sergeant Frederick Thomas, killed on active service. Mr F. Martyn, Seaward Downs, Southland (f.). Harris, Squadron Leader George Lawlor Bernaye, R.A.F., of England, previously reported missing believed killed, death now officially presumed by the Air Ministry. Inder, Sergeant Eric Charles, of Blenheim, previously reported missing, now reclassified missing believed killed. Lees, Pilot Officer Reginald Sidney, Matata, Bay of Plenty, previously . reported missing, now reclassified missing. believed killed. Mutton, Sergeant Wilfred George, Johnson vllle, previously reported missing, now reclassified missing believed killed. Robertson, Pilot Officer Norman Bruce, Hamilton, previously reported missing, now reclassified missing believed killed. Shepherd, Pilot Officer lan James, Tlmaru, previously reported missing, now reclassified missing, believed killed. Winstanley, Sergeant James Francis, Huntly, previously reported missing, now reclassified missing believed killed. New Zealand Casualty . Fry, Leading Aircraftsman Peter Rowland, seriously Injured in a non-fly-ing accident. Mr R. E. Fry, Henderson, Auckland (1).
