v - 4 APPRECIATION BY MAYOR s Emphasising that he had been impressed with the Hon. W. Bodkin’s obvious desire to help E.P.S. organisations, especially in the direction of removing irksome restrictions,- the Mayor of Christchurch (Mr E. H. Andrews), referred appreciatively to the visit to thereby of'-jihe Minister of Civil De-fenck'-His discussions with the Christchurch. Metropolitan E.P.S. promised to have most beneficial effects, said Mr Andrews.
■ “As the Minister stated in an interview in “The Press,” he was appreciative of the work that has been done in Christchurch, and he was very willing to see the Christchurch point of view,” said Mr Andrews.
