REMANDED ON CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER
* (P.A.) AUCKLAND, August 10. On remand from North Auckland, Herbert Hunter Barrett, aged 41, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court charged with attempting to murder Mate Soko Urlich. At the request of the police and with the consent of defending counsel (Mr A. Wilson). Mr J. H. Luxford. S.M. granted a remand until Monday next The police said they hoped that by then a date would be fixed for the accused to appear at Kaitaia.
