MOTOR-CYCLIST’S DEATH
An inquest into the death of Jack Newton Chatfield, aged 18 years, of 1 Stenness avenue, Somerfleld, who died in the Christchurch Public Hospital on Saturday evening, was adjourned yesterday by the Coroner (Mr E. C. Lewey) after evidence of identification had been given by Kenneth Allen Hore Chatfield was injured when the motor-cycle he was riding collided with a lorry at the corner of Montreal and Hereford streets on Saturday morning.
