♦ INTEK-C’LU B CARNIVAL The lirsl of a series of club carnivals was conducted by the Sprcydon Swimming Club lasl Saturday. Results were: I Learners' width: B. Young 1, D. Hodgson 2. N. Cowles, 3. 33 1-3 yards junior boys (special group); F. Hlackler (lisec) 1, R. Fleck (Osec) 2, G. Blackler (Isec) and B. Anderson (Gsec) (equal) 3. 50 yards men’s handicap: R. Ayling (7scc) I, J. le Comte (4sec) 2, N. Chambers (scr) 3. 75 yards men's handicap; R. Ayling (lOscc) I. N. Chambers (scr) 2, K. McKenzie (7sec) 3. MAR IST BROTHERS’ SCHOOL SPORTS The Marisl Brothers’ School swimming carnival was held recently at the-school baths. The senior championship and the Coffee Cup were won by John Cummin* (seven points) with M. McKinley (si.points) second. The junior championsh r j and the Maristonian Cup were won by Peter Lawrence (nine points) with B Cummins second. The Goodman Cup lothe most improved learner was won by J. O’Sullivan.
