ANNUAL SCHOOLS’ MATCH Play was started yesterday in the annual cricket match between St. Bede's College and St. Patrick’s College. Wellington. Batting first, on a damp pitch, St. Bede s totalled 194 runs. St. Patrick's, in their first innings, scored 55 runs, and followed on to lose seven wickets for 136. Bowling lor St. Bede’s, Meates took five for 27 in St. Patrick’s first innings, and five for 45 in their second. Plgy will continue to-day, Details of the play follow: ST.
