The following Royal New Zealand Air Force casualties are reported to-night:— Sergeant Ronald Lavender Baker, injured in air operations. Mother, Mrs C. S. Baker, Wellington. Pilot Officer Geoffrey Pender Chambers, missing on air operations. Father, Mr J. Chambers. Wellington, Pilot Officer Cedric Hubert Owen Priest, killed in an aircraft accident. Father, Mr D. O. Priest, Waharoa. Pilot Officer Edmund Douglas Crossley. previously reported missing, believed prisoner of war, now safe in Allied territory. Wife, Mrs E. D. Crossley, Hawera. Pilot Officer Donald Alfred Lewis, previously reported missing, death now officially presumed as in July. Father, Mr V. Lewis, Levin. Sergeant Timothy Rowley Murphy, previously reported missing, believed killed, death now officially presumed as in October. Mother, Mrs J. R. Murphy, Kotemaori.
