ASHBURTON WELCOME CLUB

A particularly busy period was experienced by helpers at the Ashburton Welcome Club during the weekend when large numbers of territorials on leave at Ashburton visited the •club. On Sunday, visitors to the club were entertained by women patriotic workers from Mayfield, who were m control of both the catering and entertaining. The Mayfield patriotic workers supplied a large quantity of extra food which was appreciated by the troops.
