Patriotic Appeal.— The launching of a campaign to raise £500,000 throughout Auckland Province was decided upon by the Auckland Provincial Patriotic Council. The campaign, known as the 1942 all patriotic purposes appeal. will be considered to have begun from November 1, and will be spread iover 14 months to December 31, 1942. — P-At
