An announcement that an investigation would be made by the Price Tribunal into the causes of the high prices at present being charged for vegetables in the Dominion, was made to-day by the Minister for Industries - and Commerce (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan). . “The inquiry will be held in Wei* > lington,” Mr Sullivan said, “and it will . be in public. The tribunal will announce when It will take place, and . an opportunity will be given to interested parties to appear before it. People in other districts and centres may make written submissions, and they may send these to the tribunal immediately, so that the evidence wui be available for consideration during the inquiry. -
