The following Air Force casualties were announced to-day:— Sergeant Lewis Llewellyn Thomas, R.N.Z.A.F., missing in an air accident. Father. Mr R. L. Thomas, Whakamarama P. 0., Tauranga. Pilot Officer Peter Gersholm Herrick, killed in an aircraft accident. Father, Mr F. D. Herrick, Hcrbcrtville. Sergeant Arthur lan Paget, missing on air operations. Brother, Mr C. F. Paget, Palmerston North. Pilot Officer Douglas James Jamieson, previously reported missing, now reclassified as missing, believed killed m action. Father, Mr E. J. Jamieson, Christchurch. Sergeant Howard Clive McLeigh Haselden, missing on air operations. Father, Mr H. T. Haselden, Te Awamutu. Sergeant William Robert Dil, died in hospital from injuries. Father. Mr W. J. Dil, Auckland. September 29. Probationary Temporary Sub-Lieutenant Douglas Simmonds was killed in a flying accident on September 25. according to an official announcement. His mother is Mrs L. M. A. Hill, of Maraitai.
