UNPAID RATES IN NEW BRIGHTON
CITY COUNCIL TO SELL PROPERTY “The rate collector has drawn attention to the fact that there is a contiguous area of some 23 acres at South New Brighton, upon which rates amounting to £459 4s 5d are outstandmg" stated the by-laws committee in a report to the Christchurch City Council last evening. , . .. “The committee has instructed the rate collector to take steps to sell the property under the provisions of Section 79 of the Rating Act, 1925.
