Miner’s Death.—A petition presented in the House of Representatives by Caroline O’Connell, of Runanga, praying for compensation for the death of her husband, allegedly arising out of his employment at the Rewanui State coal mine, was referred by the Goldfields and Mines Committee to the Government for consideration.—P.R.
