UNITED CROQUET CLUB
There was a good attendance of members at tiie annual meeting of the croquet section of the United Club. Mr A. C. Murray presided. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr A. G. Rqss; vicepresidents, Messrs G. Richardson and H. A. Penn: secretary and treasurer, Mrs J. P. Maddren; committee, Mesdames Smithson, Kellaway, Murray, pepper. Barnes, McNish. and Pargetgr. Messrs F. Blunt and F. Dunn; handicappers, Messrs G. Richardson, A. Ross, arid F. Blunt; delegate to Canterbury Association, Mrs kellaway. It was decided to forward a donation of £lO lo the Patriotic Fund.
