RESERVE BANK DIRECTORS

Two Reappointments (P.R.) WELLINGTON, September 26. The reappointment of Messrs George Lawn and Mark Silverstone as directors of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand was announced tonight by the Minister for Finance (the Hon. W. Nash). Their terms of office recently expired. “No change in the management of the bank is proposed,” said Mr Nash, when he was asked if a governor was to be appointed. Mr W. F. L. Ward is the acting-governor.
