* NO INFORMATION YET AVAILABLE (P.R.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 25. An unsuccessful attempt to obtain from the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser) some indication of when he proposed making a statement oh the election issue was made .by the Leader of the Opposition (Mr S. G. Holland), before the House of Representatives rose at 10 p.m. After Mr Fraser had announced that the Public Works Estimates and the Public Works Statement would be considered to-morrow, Mr Holland asked if any other important statement could be expected. “I would like to announce that the- public is awaiting some news about the election,” Mr Holland said. Mr A. S. Richards (Government, Roskill): Waiting to finish you off. Mr Fraser: Qrdef, order. ■ An Opposition member: It sounds like a caucus meeting. Mr Fraser: I hope the progress made to-morrow will facilitate all sorts of positions. Mr Holland: Then you will make a statement to-morrow night? Mr J.
