AMERICAN LOAN TO BRITAIN
STOCKS FOR COLLATERAL SECURITY
(8.0. W.) RUGBY, August 5. Arising out of the loan of 425,000,000 dollars, made to Britain by the United States Reconstruction Finance Corporation, the Treasury announces an order calling upon owners of certain American securities in the United Kingdom to deposit the documents of title with the Treasury. The order refers to certain stocks which form collateral security for the loan.
