MODEL YACHTING
The Christchurch Model Yacht Club held its forty-third annual meeting last week, when the commodore, Mr H. J> Bowlker, presided over a good attendance of members. . . The honorary secretary reported that the season had been a very successful one, and the balance-sheet showed a small credit on the,year’s working. The following officers were unanimously elected for the ensuing year:— President, Mr John W. vicer presidents, Messrs Cyrus J. R. Williams and L. A. Morrison; commodore, Mr H. J Bowlker: captain, Mr R. C. Munro; vice-captain, Mr”W. Beauchamp: honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr J. L. Ruxton. ■ ‘ • It was decided to open the season on August 30, and to start the race for the championship of the club on November 15, and the president's race on January 31, 1942. ■
