SPRINGSTON SOUTH DOMAIN BOARD
ANNUAL MEETING HELD
That the licence fee a section be £2 ss, the same as for last year, was the decision taken by the Springston South Domain Board at its annual meeting yesterday. Mr E. J. Harris presided. After consideration of the estimates it was stated that the section fee would cover only the general , maintenance works on the board’s reserve. It would not provide funds for works not coming within that category. Because of this and the situation created by the war it .was decided to suspend all major works. The annual report and statement of accounts audited by the Government Auditor were adopted. A credit balance of £2OO was shown. Officers elected for the year were:— Chairman, Mr E, J. Harris; deputychairman. Mr F. w. Woodward; finance committee, Messrs E. J. Harris. F. W. Woodward, S. F, Barnett.. A. Mcßean, and R; H. Bell (representing the Commissioner ot Crown Lands).
