EDGEWARE CLUB
The annual meeting of the Edgeware Bowling Club was held, with the president, Mr A. D. Wilson, presiding. The financial position of the club was Shown to be very sound, the balance of assets over the liabilities amounting to £I2OO 8s Bd. The membership for the incoming season was 90. with four life and three honorary members. The following officers were elected.— President. Mr P. L. Orr: vice-president, Mr C. Brunsden; centre delegate, Mr J. E. Gagllardi: honorary auditor, Mr D. C. Burns; club'selector and handicflpper, Mr J. E. Gagllardi; treasurer, Mr J. L. Bennett: secretary, Mr R. V. Logie; green committee, Mr G. P. Payne (chairman), Mr F. Andrew, and Mr J. E. Gagllardi; committee of management, Messrs J, W. Beanland. O, G. Moody, G. Burgess, H. P. Dobbs. F. Andrew, and A. E. Brown; billiards committee, Messrs Beanland, Keen, Fulton, and Skoglund; social committee. Messrs Brunsden, Newell, Calvert, Craig, and Dalmer. The prizes for the year’s competitions were presented by the president as follows:—Championship singles, G. Williams; championship pairs, K. R, Smith and G. Williams (s): championship fours, L. A. Houston, J. W. Beanland, A. M. Mollison. S. Molllson (s); Burgess Cup, handicap singles, A. Calvert: Dent shield, handicap pairs, A. K. Adam, K. R.' Smith (s); W. E. Simes Cup. P. L. Orr, S. Clayton, C. F. Johnson, C. Hamilton (s); A. R. Blank trophy, drawing competition, J. A. Hayman; rose bowl, first and second yeat players. C. Byron: Payne-Moody trophies, F. Jones, O. Seaton, W. J. Jackman, and S. Mollison (s).
